ok the pictures are not in the order I wanted but, here goes!
the fog picture is the before pic, and and the first picture with the broken limbs is the same tree, after the ice storm! it is gone !
but the middle picture, is atfter the storm, all of the tree were hurt! and in the days to come, I will show you more, and tell you more
now this is me thinking out loud! so bare with me! when I seen these pictures , this is the story I got from them, the fog tree, standing tall in all of its beau ~ tee, then it was stripped and broken , all hope gone, then in 3 days the sun rose, and the hope was back!

A perfect [I forgot what you call them] using the hope example.
I wonder how the cardinals fared?
..
There is always God's beauty even in the destruction. You capture it so well.

I think it is great that you can draw inspiration from what has happened after several days without power.
Good to have you back around.
You need to post that again on Easter! Beautiful.
Glad you're doing well!
Dear Jel...I kind of hate to say it but your being in the "lost power" so long has brought you out with some good lessons to pass on to us!
I am glad that you didn't run out of camera battery power!
It always breaks my heart to see a tree that is in such distress. I am so glad that this tree made it through!...
And I am so glad that a wounded Christian makes it through with the Lord's help and with the help of His Own dear children....Love Terry
I am wondering too about those little red birds but I am sure, Jim that God would look after them! After all His eye is on the sparrow you know...
Jel!! when you click on to the first picture and get an enlargement can you ever see the ice, the way it is hanging on to the fence like the fringe of a scarf....Brr...So cold looking!...
Those are beautiful pics, sis! Thanks for sharing.
I am curious about the following-up posts on the trees, although I have no doubt God will leave us all in awe! :-)
Hugs and love.
God's Grace.
Jim, and Terry, the Red birds did ok, it was the other wildlife that it hurt, and Terry , I'm sorry but that tree din't made it!
the one that David put on his blog.
Ice is such a heavy burden to bear!! Love the analogy!!
Oh that is SO sad Jel...I wonder if David knows about it...
Is that the tree that he called Lacy Fingers?
Or is it the tree that we were all trying to name?
I feel so sad about the wild life too..
They would just not understand what was happening...So sad Jel....Love Terry
beautiful pix of a sad event
glad you're back :)
There you go!
Janice, we got that same ice-storm, though not as bad. You are very talented with the camera. Great insight bout the storm.

Hello Janice nice to see you back with all the beautiful pict's and story about the ice storm . The pict's created memories of the ice storms that you all had! Blessings to you .
These are nice and the story of being in a fog standing there in your own beauty then being stripped and broken before the Lord until the Son rose and shines his light on your brokeness making you more beautiful than you were in the 1st place because He now shines in you.
Very nice.
Whoa! I have never seen ice like that. :0
So sad to see such an awesome tree broken like that.
