My child, come sit with me!
I've been where you are!
Leave your cares with me!

I just want to thank my blog friends for putting up with my mood that I have been in. I let the worries of this world , not reading the word, and not feeling good , get me down!

But I feel a change coming on, went to bed last night sick, woke up at midnite and couldn't go back to sleep, so I got my Bible out and started to read! the book of Acts, it felt good to get back to it!

Everyone have a very BLessed Day!

He sent His word & healed them & delivered them from their destructions.

Psalm 107:20

Sister Janice, you are HEALED! Amen?! As Christ sent His Word. Let us look at the perfect work on the cross when Devil wants us to look at his deceptions on our flesh!

I rejoice with you as you are a dear sister to me:-) Will keep praying for u!

In that respect, you're no different than any of the rest of us. Hope you feel better quickly.

I had been missing you. I knew something was up.
At one time I would read Acts at night when Mrs. Jim could sleep but I couldn't.
I used a study book, The Acts of the Apostles by Donald Guthrie. It is long out of print and I can't find a used one now.
Not too unusual but I will always remember coming to the Road to Damascus part.
It was as if were there when Jesus asked, "Saul, Saul, why persecuteth thou me?" or something very close to that. I still feel something I can't explain just thinking about that experience.

Thanks Janice! Your God is faithful, He won't put anymore on you than you can bear. Most times more easily said than believed. KNow those old Winter blues well. You hang in there. Pat
