8 days and no power! We knew that it was coming, and knew it would be bad, but didn't know it would be as bad, as it got!
The storm, didn't just get one state, it took a few more , and there are some who still don't have power to this day! It hit a alot of people hard, and not just people , it hurt alot of animals, and the wildlife, and it hurt the trees the most! This is the first time we have ever seen an ice storm that has taking so many trees down.
I want to thank all the people that were and are out there working too get the power back on, they put their lifes on the line , to get the lines back up so we can get our lives back online!

The storm stared on Friday nite, first the rain came , then it turn to ice, it came down hard and fast, and by morning , ya just knew it would be a different world out side !
And that is where, my story starts , and I will tell you in a few days,

the fog picture is the before pic, and and the first picture with the broken limbs is the same tree, after the ice storm! it is gone !

but the middle picture, is atfter the storm, all of the tree were hurt! and in the days to come, I will show you more, and tell you more

now this is me thinking out loud! so bare with me! when I seen these pictures , this is the story I got from them, the fog tree, standing tall in all of its beau ~ tee, then it was stripped and broken , all hope gone, then in 3 days the sun rose,and the hope was back!

I just want to thank my blog friends for putting up with my mood that I have been in. I let the worries of this world , not reading the word, and not feeling good , get me down!

But I feel a change coming on, went to bed last night sick, woke up at midnite and couldn't go back to sleep, so I got my Bible out and started to read! the book of Acts, it felt good to get back to it!

and it was SUTTER'S CROSS ( W. Dale Cramer) some of you may have read it , it came out in 2003, it was his first Novel, but as I found out he as wrote 2 more since then , and his fourth is due out next month , I think.

People have been talking about their fav. Christmas songs, here in blogland. Well the songs, and the Group that I like to hear sing the songs, is on a 8 track ( I know it dates me) and I haven't been able to listen to it for a long time, cause my player wore out years ago :( ! Well anyway, I got out of my Cave and took mom, to town. And guess what I found,
WOO HOO! my Fav group The Statler Bros. and the songs , that were on my 8 track, on CD!
so guess what I'm listening to now! :)

A BOOK REPORT ON

PRAYER/DOES IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE?

I never was any good with reports in school, because I didn't know, and still don't know how to express myself, but I will try to here.

To me prayer is everthing! it is like air, you need it! and these days it means even more !

On the back of this book it says ( Prayer: Does it make any difference? explores the questions surrounding prayer that many of us wonder, but few of us know how to express.

That is what got me to get this book! I love to read and can read a book in a day or two and if it is very good, I can read it in a night! but this book took me, much longer to read, not because it was hard to get into , but there was so much to absorb. And for me I had to stop, and look up the words, I didn't understand.

This book has touch me very much or should say the stories in the book touched me.

Particularly these 3 storys

One was about the story of Martha, and Marty when they told Jesus that Lazarus was dead.

Then about a man who was copeing with his wife who has Aleheimer's

And the on that had me in tears, was the one about the time that Mr. Yancey, and his wife were on a tour of a hospital, in Nepal, that specializes in leporosy rehab. And on that tour there was a woman that was badly deformend from leopsy. She was totally blind, she would have to walk on her elbows, and drag her body to get any here. and then Mrs. Yancey bent down and hugged her, the woman leaned in and started to sing , Jesus loves me . Turns out that she was a prayer warrior!

This is a very good book, I'm glad that I read it, and I think that you will to!
