on the band wagon

Okay some blogger's are posting  recipe's . so  here is one from little old me. :)

penguins .   I think I got this  off of a Veggie Tales tape.

this is what you need to make them

a can of small olives and a big can of them

carrots

cream cheese

toothpicks

spit a  big olive  so you can stuff some cream cheese in it.  and take a small olive and put it

on top of the big olive. this is where the toothpick comes in.  but first you have to cut the carrots

into a  wedge for a nose. and for the feet cut a disk. then with the toothpick push it though the head to the feet.  have fun .

My better half is really coming along well. Walks with a cane and doesn't need the wheel chair any longer. Now it's just a matter of time for strengthening his muscles and his core. Still a bit wobbly and gets tired pretty easy. He is almost 80 so things progress slowly...will be glad when he can drive again... back-seat drivers can be tiring...haha...

Sounds refreshing. Mine would have to be a cooked carrot for my fake teeth to chew.
We are in the hospital today, Mrs. Jim's brother is having open heart surgery, a triple for sure bypass. He was getting short of breath. He did have a stroke but failed his stress BIG time.
His wife and Mrs. Jim are in the waiting room but only two could go in so I'm at a table of the cafeteria and catching up on things I can do here. Only one, will be his wife, can stay overnight but not even that until he goes to a room.
His 'preacher' met us for prayer at 5:00 am as he was being admitted. That was nice.
I might share a recipe now and then.
