I'm very sorry you lost your bud. What happend to her? I know your heart is aching.
Something (we think a racoon) got in our hen house one night. Killed all of our chickens. Only our Rooster, Buddy, survived. We nursed him back to health, I even had him on the prayer list at church. :) I love my guineas and chickens.
awww ... i am so sorry to hear of your loss ... those 4 legged critters steal a spot in our hearts, don't they ... and some of them become extra special ... leo still mourns the loss of our fearless feline - i don't think any other can take his place ...
I too am feeling sorry for your loss. God gave us these friends so we could care for them. Quite often they return more to us than we have given them. I do believe they have unconditional love, like the love that God would have us doing, and the love that He has for us. Our Adi is thirteen and is showing aging a lot now. It will be a sad, sad, day for me when she dies. ..
Sorry to hear you lost your friend, Jan Jan. I know how it feels. Chico the Wonder Dog was with us for almost 19 years and losing him was the same as losing any other member of the family. If you're lucky, she'll visit you from time to time as Chico the Wonder Dog with us. Don't be surprised if that happens.
