I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and , as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isaiah 44:22

Amen/ Whoever said the Old Testament is about a God of wrath and the NT about a God of love hasn't really looked closely enough at the tenderness of passages such as these.
My sin - oh the bliss of this glorious thought, my sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, It is well, it is well with my soul.
