winter "05"
snow cover field, the air has a snap to it ,
the farer you walk , the higher you go ,
the harder you breath . Cold air burns your lungs, your arms and legs are starting to talk , but you push on,
till you make it to the top .
And as you stand there , catching your breath, and letting your racing heart slow down a beat.
Looking way down to here you have been , close your eyes and listen to the falling of the snow!

I love this picture Jel.
How beatuiful is the creation of Lord Almighty. Let us stand in awe of it. Listen and meditate. I medetated this morning. It was a great meditation time focusing my thoughts on you picture. Centering myself on it. Peaceful.
I hope you have a great weekend.

How about some Florida winter scenes? You know, outdoor malls, people in shorts and sandals, tans, and the temperature at almost 80.

Very pretty, JEL. I'm here in Nebraska, since Wednesday. They had freezing rain before we came and snow yesterday.
Things are soooo pretty (I put a couple of snow scenes on tonight).

Reminds me of a couple of winters "back home" ... only we got these kind of winters about every 6-8 years whereas you have them every year!

Your photos are great, but you're making me cold. B-r-r-r!

Here's how you know it's winter in Florida.
1. The rain stops
2. It's no longer in the 90s
3. The citrus fruit begins to ripen
4. The senior citizen population doubles
