summer fun, when I was a kid, going fishing with dad, going swiming in the river, dad and mom taking my younger sister and me on little road trips, campouts down on the river bank, watching the fireflies comeout at nite, staying up late.
If you get that jersey, holler and let us know! My lil' sis, who is the biggest Sens fan around these parts, will be green with envy--but she would rather have a Heatley jersey, knowing her. Better yet, please be sure to post a photo of you wearing the jersey :) When IS your birthday, by the way? God bless your day with His goodness, The little pilgrim pal
p.s. I saw your comment at Terry's this morning...I don't know if she's responded to you yet, but if you scroll down to the comments on the previous post, she answered me there when I asked her where she was. Her dad's not doing well, and she had a funeral yesterday and today.
Good memories! I was very intentional about making memories with my children because I don't have any particular memeories of that type from my childhood. A few with grandparents, but none (that I remember) with my parents.
I found it...hey, you even used the same photo for that post as you did here! Thank you for the comment on the name. I never dreamed so many people would like it!
Thanks so much for sharing your memories about summer and with your dad here, Janice!
I love the picture.
I hope you're doing well. I'll be posting your interview in a couple of weeks over at Finding Direction, so watch for it. I'll email you to let you know more before I run it.

It's fun to look back and enjoy those memories.
I like the name you left for the yucca plant on my blog. Suits it to a tee!
So sweet! I love summer too, and can't wait to make memories with my kids like you had growing up.
Dads are the best! and so are fireflies. :)
Peace
Neva
