Great storm photo and great comments here, Janice.
I was in the mountain area of Virginia last week and there was a thunderstorm late one afternoon (and then again in the middle of the night) and I was struck by how different the storm was than where we live here in south Mississippi.
Here, the storms are much more violent than what I saw that day. It was actually neat watching the clouds and rain move across the mountain to the west directly behind my son's property and to hear the thunder booming and to watch the rain pelt the big windows to the west.
Thanks for the photo and to everyone for all their thoughts.
Hi JEL -- More clouds, theses are nice and intriguing! I love to watch a good thunderstorm from inside when there are a lot of windows. I should return from jail and relieve Karen and Bily towards week's end. ..
we had a nice big storm yesterday, we never lost electricity but many did, there was a line down a block away.
ReplyDeletebig lightning and thunderboomers
I like to hear thunderboomers!
ReplyDeleteThat is true, but in the heart of man resides the One who calms the storms.
ReplyDeleteOh Greg!...How nice!!! from Terry

Jel,
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I have had many lifestorms and their passing over has made the calm oh so much sweeter.
How awesome is our God?
