I don't remember any past Christmas days, not last year, or ever, even as a child. They must not been too memorable.
The only Thanksgiving I remember was when I was single for the first time. A friend (girl) had an apartment downtown over a bar in Lincoln, Nebraska. I only had a rented room.
She let me stay in her apartment the whole weekend because she went to her parents for Thanksgiving.

Your BEST present idea is good and I do remember a few presents.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Janice. There is a reason for the season, and it has nothing to do with Santa Claus and presents!!

Janice ,
I too wish you the happiest of Christmas's, one you will remember for a long time to come..being with family, sharing their love watching all the old Christmas movies, pressies etc., but the best gift any one could possibly want is knowing and receiving Jesus into our hearts......

jel-
I remember all of the relatives showing up at the grandparents house on Christmas Day and ALL of us spending the night. We had pallets on the floor every where in every room of that very small two bedroom house. Quilting frames hanging from the ceilings. When I was real young I used to think, "Why doesn't someone just sleep up there?"

Well, we all grew up and so did that baby- King of Kings and Lord of Lord :)

Merry Christmas to you also! I remember the excitment of it all. The smell of Turkey cooking, my Step-dad making the stuffing, the joy of seeing the presents under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. I have to say I had a lot of found memories growing up as a child.
