Boy am I glad, that G0d don't think that we are dispoable, but REDEEMABLE!!!!!!!

morning before the storm

I havent taking any new pictures in a while , just didn't C the point of it!

but the other day my husband came inside and told me that the pond froze over nite,

and it looked cool, and want me to look see!

well I did and ended up taking a roll of film, and here's one of them!

I posted this prayer for 2007,

I think it will fit for the coming year as well!

so may 2008, be a blessing to U all!

one day as we were walking down the lane in a zoo, we came upon a duck and a donkey, the duck was telling a joke and the donkey laughed so hard that his jaw locked up!

THE SHEPHERDS AND THE ANGELS
Luke 2:8-14,16-20
NIV

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks, at night. An angel of the Lord appered to them , and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified, But the angel said to them, " Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you: He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God, and saying "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth to men on whom his favor rests"

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger, when they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them, about this child, and all who, heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned , glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

snow cover field, the air has a snap to it ,

the farer you walk , the higher you go ,

the harder you breath . Cold air burns your lungs, your arms and legs are starting to talk , but you push on,

till you make it to the top .

And as you stand there , catching your breath,and letting your racing heart slow down a beat.

Looking way down to here you have been , close your eyes and listen to the falling of the snow!

Was going though some stuff , trying to find something to post, and came along with this, I got this in an e-mail 3 years ago today, and the reason I know that, is on the date is was sent was on Sunday,Nov 07,2004. so to me it was a sign to post it today Wed. Nov 7, 2007!

A young, new preacher was walking with a older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day. feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was asking the older preacher for some advice. The older preacher walked up to a rose bush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing any of the petals. The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of God for his life and ministry. But, because of his great respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to try and unfold the rosebud while keeping every petal intact... It wasn't long before he realized how impossible this was to do. Noticing the young preacher' s inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older preacher began to recite the following poem:

It is only a tiny rosebud

A flower of God's design;

But I cannot unfold the petals

With these climsy hands of mine.

The secret of unfolding flowers

Is not know to such as I.

God opens the flower so sweetly,

Then, in my hands, they die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,

The flower of God's design,

Then how can I have the wisdom

To unfold this life of mine?

So, I'll trust in him for leading

Each moment of my day.

I will look to Him for His guidance

Each step of the Pilgrim's way

The pathway the lies before me

Only my Heavenly Father Knows.

I'll trust Him to unfold the moments

Just as He unfolds the rose.

I love to read, and sometimes I will reread a book over and over.

And each time I do, I see things that I don't catch the first time .

It stands out more the second time, well it happen this time to! I'm rereading "Breathing Grace" and there this one part that jumped out to me. "God's grace does not always apppear as soft rose petaled comfort. sometimes grace touches us with a loving hand of pain.

When Christ's hand reaches out to guide us through a valley of pain, look carefully at the hands that are holding our's His hands are scarred etched with evidence of pain. The hands of the Creator of the universe carrys the wounds of love for his children. They are the scares of grace"

since I have been here in blogland , I have met,a lot of people that live with pain, day ~in~day~out . and this made me think of them, They do it with Grace!

Read this ,this morning and it is soooo true!

LORD PROP US UP

Every time I am ask to pray, I think of the old deacon who always prayed,"Lord prop us up on our leanin'side"

After hearing him pray that prayer many times, someone asked him why he prayed that prayer so fervently, He answered , "Well sir, you see, it's like this.... I got an old barn out back, it's been there a long time. It's withstood a lot of weather, it's gone through alot of storms and it's stood for many of years. It's still standing. But one day I noticed it was leaning to one side abit. So I went and got some pine poles and propped it up on it's leaning side so it wouldn't fall, Then I got to thinking 'bout that and how much I was like that old barn. I've been around a long time, I've stood alot of life's storms. I've withstood alot bad weather in my life, I've withstood alot of hard times and I'm still standing too. I find myself leaning to one side from time to time. I like to ask the Lord to prop us up on our leaning side,'cause I figure alot of us get to leaning, at times"

Sometime we get to leaning toward anger, leaning toward bitterness, and alot of things that we shouldn't, so we need to pray,"Lord, prop us up on our leaning side," So we will stand straight and tall again, to glorify the LORD!!!!!
